These last few weeks have been crazy busy with birthday and graduation parties, end of the year activities, and wrapping up my school duties before summer. For that reason, this is just a post full of videos that I've taken over the last week and a half. There's not going to be much frill. :)
Last week ended on a cool note and I had to dig up some of Cal's old warm clothing for Davis to wear. I love having two boys for many reasons, but I have to say that it is extremely convenient digging around in the storage room for clothes when Davis needs them. Since they were born in different seasons, I haven't been able to recycle as many clothing items as I (and my frugal hubs) would like.
Davis has been a fan of all the foods I've made for him so far: pears, sweet potatoes, squash, apples, and bananas. Green beans were not a hit, though, and his face shows his immediate distaste for them.
Look at how much the boys resemble each other! Davis is starting to look more like his own individual person and less like a replica of Cal, but they definitely have similar features. They are about the same age in these pictures. Davis isn't stretched out, but he's as long or longer than Cal was at this age. He goes in for his 6 month shots next week, so I'll get his true measurements at that time!
We went to Ty's party on Saturday and then to a graduation party for our neighbor/Cal's babysitter after that. It was a busy day full of lots of cake and friends. Cal gave him some choo choo trains.....and then wanted to take them home with him.
On Sunday, Mitch played golf with some buddies. Davis decided it was time to try and chew on his toes again....
....and he was successful! :)
When Daddy leaves, Mama will indulge and satisfy her infinite sweet tooth with her like-minded toddler.
Cupcake time!!!
I turned around and saw him doing this.......amazing. I wish I would've thought of it first.
Davis likes to rock while he's sitting (independently I might add!) because he wants to get up and move around like his big brother!
Luckily the boys play together while I'm cooking or when I need 10 minutes to myself and I caught a sort clip of them.
Davis gives a great belly laugh every now and then but nobody can get him to laugh as hard as his big brother!
It has been beautiful this week and Cal has been itching to try out his new pool. He asked, "Can I get naked?" Yep....go for it, kid.
Davis loved the water, too. Once he figured out that he could splash, he soaked himself from head to toe!
Thor fueled up before our Target run. #badguysbeware
Thor felt energized after battling the bad guys at Target, so he ran circles around Papa Murphy's. I was that mom that video taped him instead of stopping him.....guilty.
