quick post from Jan-Feb

Mom and Davis......see a resemblance, much?!?!

This "winter" has been so mild!  We've played outside so much.....it's been wonderful!

Just three of my dudes....

This probably won't be the last time all three boys drive the same car.  I bet they won't wear the same shirt next time, though.  :)

Rocky didn't get on the furniture for the first few weeks.  Then my dear husband came home and encouraged him to jump on the bed.  Rocky took straight to it and hasn't looked back since.  ha!  Beds, couches, etc.....all are ok for Rock.

Biker gang.

Tired horse dog.

My folks came up on Friday night and we had a double date!  We ate at Chester's Chophouse......so good!

On Saturday we went to Cal's game!
Cal's a stud.  It's been so exciting watching all the kids improve each game.  They've learned the importance of passing the ball and rebounding.  These 5 and 6 year olds are so fun to watch.

Mimi and Papa have come up for a few of his games!  Cal loves the extra fans.  :)

We brought Sampson, our neighbor Vada's dog, over to play.  Sampson is a giant malamute......he's not even a year old and weighs about 90#.  He's not done growing either!  Rocky and Sampson are good buds!  Ollie wanted to play, too, but she didn't want to be trampled so she mainly stayed to the side and barked.  ha

Our boys had a long weekend....

That weekend, Archie got the stomach flu.  He was throwing up and all over just felt icky.   Poor kid.  Unfortunately, I got the bug on Monday and I slept ALL DAY.  I just couldn't get enough sleep!  The next to fall was Davis who got the stomach bug a few days later.  I basically stayed home with sick people all week.  Brutal stuff.

Rocky was helping Davis feel more comfortable.  He is a good snuggler!

I found this pic of my Grandma Gerry and Grandpa Stanley from my parents' wedding.  Love it....

Yes, he's wearing shorts.  Yes, it's been in the 70's frequently this February.  Yes, this is craziness.

He "didn't need to take a nap" that day.....

Rocky the Jungle Gym.

I was trying to take a quick shut eye on the couch while the boys were busy upstairs.  Rocky jumped up and sat right on top of me.  He's yawning in this pic.  :)

Laid right on top of O-Bear.....

I love this saying.  ha!

Rocky frequently stays upstairs with the boys even though we come downstairs.  They love him and he loves them.  Also.....yes, they're always in our bed.  We sometimes let them fall asleep in our bed after we read books....then we move them to their own beds.  On weekends, they do sleep in our bed quite a bit.  ha!

We've got a full on walker!  Arch loves bubbles!

Nap time....these two are best buds.

Cal spent the afternoon at Mason's house one Friday.  They are such good buds!

Such a happy baby!

We spent all afternoon outside....sweet babies.

Sweet Brain Brain......(we used to call her and Donnie...."Pinky and the Brain" from that old cartoon.  This morphed into Brainy and Brain Brain.....fitting because she's basically a human in a dog's body.)

We took the boys fishing on the golf course one Sunday afternoon.  Cal loves fishing and focuses on everything.  Davis concentrated for 2.5 seconds and then found a giant pile of sticks to dig in the mud with.  ha!

He was telling me....."I'm probably going to go pee in that water over there."  And he did.

Mom came up that evening!  I wanted to take her to get her nails done for her bday, so we spent Monday together.  It was so fun!  I didn't have school, so we ran around Wichita and ate a delicious lunch.  However, it was cut short because Archie's daycare called and he had a fever of 102.  Unfortunately, this fever lasted for 4 days!?!?!?  It was another long week of illness (and me not working), but my baby is finally better!  He got an ear infection that week, too, but atleast it drained out and I got an ear drop prescription.  He's on the mend.  Now that he's feeling better, he's soooooo much happier!  He's eating well, drinking bottles, walking EVERYWHERE, and is an overall silly guy.

This was my view one morn.  I was so tired and was chugging coffee......but this warm pile of doggies didn't help me wake up.  I just wanted to lay there and sleep with them!

Arch loves feeding himself!  He's quite the independent little man.

I had to take the boys to the dentist one Friday.  Davis had a cavity fixed and wasn't happy about it.  Archie was tired and ready to get out of that office.  Cal was in a room and I could hear him yelling, "Ow!  Stop it!"    I was ready to get the H outta there.

I took them to lunch afterwards and Davis was a big fan of the burgers, fries, milkshakes, and cinnamon roll.....yes, it was a feast.  They earned it!  (Dad said that this pic looks like he's been drinking.  hahahahaha)

The right side of his face was numb....poor thing!

Even Arch liked the shakes!

Numb, fat lip.....
