Holy moly....lots of pictures.

Even Ollie Bird loves golf cart rides!

I can't believe how these two sleep!

I love this picture of Daver...
Our Fridays at home are kind of strange without having Cal with us this year.  However, he has a blast at school with his buds and my little boys get to play together/get to know each other better.  Cal and Davis are glued at the hip, so when they're separated, it's interesting to see Davis step into the big brother role and play with his baby brother.

Arch man....I love his cute little toe-headed haircut!  He loves Danimals.

The first KSU game of the year was a hot one!  Davis wasn't too sure about Willie the Wildcat!

On Sunday, we went to the Seeley's house and the kids played and played, while the adults drank and ate.  It was glorious!

Piper is such a good girl!!!

Last pool day of the summer...Cal and his soon-to-be-Kindergartner bud, Will Roberts.

We've gotten pretty good at bug catching lately!  The boys had a lot of fun with this grasshopper.  Don't worry, it made it out alive.

Even when I try to relax, these four require my attention.  ha!!!  I love my fur babies.

This is how Arch walks around recently....blankie/robe and his paci.

Peachy kitty.....she's a great cat!

Praying Mantis!

Davis's first soccer game.....look at that form!  :)

Cal really loves soccer!  He's improved so much and is legitimately good at it.  So proud of him....

On this Friday, Cal didn't have school, so I had all of three of my handsome guys home with me.  We went to "red park" and played until it got too hot.

I love the pictures that JNA sends me.  :)

Laura and her fan club!  The Mannings are such good neighbors.  We love stopping by to say hi.....and I don't think she minds.  :)

I was trying to go to bed early and these three wanted to join.

When Mitch left for work the next day, they all were laying on the bed like this and didn't move. ha!

Happy Birthday to the best daddy!  We love you!!!!

Early the next morning, Mitch and I flew out for Nashville.  From the ICT airport, we saw a full double rainbow....so beautiful!

We got to Nashville, unloaded our suitcases, and immediately went out for food and drinks!

We ran into SO many KSU fans that we knew.  I hadn't seen the Smith brothers in years!

We drank for 6 hours and left the bars to come back and get changed....and buy beer....and take selfies.  ha  #WildcatsInNashville

We got SO many comments like, "What team did you girls play for?!?"  "Did you all meet while playing basketball somewhere?"  "How tall ARE you girls??!"  We eventually started telling people that we were KSU Volleyball coaches.  ha

The next morn, I facetimed my mom so that I could see the boys.  Cal's game got rained out and he was really bummed.  Davis played half of his before the lightening started.

Us girls got showered and a second wind....we went to lunch and out to explore.  These were my drinks....all mine.   Water, Diet Coke, water, margarita.  :)

My beloved Tom....such a great guy!  Ashley is a lucky gal to have married such an awesome person and vice versa!

The Vanderbilt entrance was ridiculous.  We were crammed into their aisles like cattle in a chute.   It took us over 20 minutes just to walk through a 20 foot hallway!?!  They clearly aren't used to having that many fans in their stadium.  I shouldn't sh*t talk because they did beat us (we played so horribly), but in addition to the poor movement, I stood in the concession stand line for an entire quarter!??!!   I got up there and they had RUN OUT OF WATER?!?!  Also, I got one of the last hot dogs.  What stadium runs out of the staples?!?!?!

Coach.  ❤

Look closely and you'll see some familiar, unhappy faces.

Meanwhile, back in Kansas, my folks met our new dog.  Piper is such a lover....and apparently a lap dog.  ha

I found some cowboy boots (I think they're actually girl boots b/c there's some pink stitching on them) for Davis at a thrift store and he LOVES them!!!

I took this pic of Archie at the pumpkin patch and immediately thought of this pic that I took of Davis when he was a little over one and a half (taken in CA for Rose and Clint Hooper's wedding).  Each of their right eyes are slightly squinted and their left cheek is flatter due to their slight smirks.  :)

This guy is a CHARACTER!!!  He asked me to play Mariokart with him one day and I said I couldn't because I was cooking.  He told me, "If you don't play, then I won't love you anymore."  I said...."I'm so sorry but I can't right now."  He pointedly declared, "Fine.  Then I hate you."  (delivered with a smirk and giggle).   This kid! hahahaha

Davis said, "Mom, Cameron wears her hair in bowties and it literally makes her hair longer!"  I was confused and then he showed me what he meant.....he was talking about pigtails!  I love it...bowties = pigtails.  :)

These three melt my heart.  They were pretty excited to pick their big bro up from school!

The Gillespies stopped by to say hi one Friday eve.  They brought ice cream.....clearly they know our boys well.  :)

Arch thought the Gatorade was for him.  ha
We stopped by a car show in the CCA parking lot.  I made the boys take a pic in front of the El Camino for Mimi.  Her first car was a green El Camino.

We stopped by Open Streets ICT, where they closed Douglas off for 3 miles and people were able to buy items, sample food, drink beer, have family fun, etc.  It was a great way to spend the afternoon!

Arch's class had a trip to the Pumpkin Patch on that Monday.  It was a beautiful day!  I've been coming to this patch since Cal was 2.  I cannot believe how fast time is flying....

This little monkey is SO mischievous.  I walked in and found him dunking his sneaker in the toilet repeatedly.  So I took a picture instead of stop him.....because it was funny.  :)

Mom brought up an old box full of Tony and my dress up clothes.  As I opened it, I said...."PLEASE let the blue clown wig be in there!"  And it was.  ha

Look at Arch!!!!!   It's like he was on Santa's lap or something?!?!?!?
Sweet, photogenic Davis.....

This boy loves his dogs.....and they love him.

One Friday, mom came down and we took her to Tanganikya.   Davis has always wanted the birds to land on him.  This day, he got his wish!

I was trying to take a picture of Arch and I feeding the lorikeet, but check out this hysterical sequence!!

Mimi....the crazy bird lady.  ha

Davis likes to pick up the pumpkins and find slugs.  He calls it a "slug party".

My handsome Cal....you have no idea how sweet, kind, and beautiful you are.

This mischievous little fella.....he is always cackling!

These dogs!!!

I love this couple....so beautiful!

Cal wrote some things in chalk.  ❤

Davis drew some people!  I call them "potato people".  I love watching my boys be creative!

Davis drew Cal, Papa, himself, and Mimi.

Quick soccer morn, followed by a KSU game....

The next day, the boys went to Mason's birthday party.  Davis and Kenna hung out the whole time.  So sweet!

Arch was in his "baseball pose" .  ha

The big boys played some PIG.

Our park was full of beautiful monarchs for two weeks.  We went down and caught many.  It was amazing watching the boys be so silent, calm, and still.....they're so gently with these beautiful bugs.

Look at how well Davis is writing his name!  I don't even have to give him a model anymore.  He remembers which letter go in which order.  His A and V look similar, but I'm so proud of him!!!!!!!!!!!!!

18 months: Arch man is growing!  He is in the 75th percentile for height and 50th for weight.

I picked Cal up from Latchkey that day and he was so hot from playing soccer that he took his shirt off in the van.  ha  This kid is a sweater!!!!!!!!!!

The next day, I randomly brought Ollie along for a car ride to pick the boys up.  She doesn't enjoy walks as much as she used to.  Her poor joints are getting stiff and after a mile, she's good on walks for a day or two.

I pulled up and was astonished by how many people had brought their dogs to pick up that day.  Little did I know, it was "bless your pet day".  The Priest came out and said a prayer over our fur babies. Cal was SO excited that we could participate with our sweet O-Bird.

We made it on the STA website....

That Friday, Cal didn't have school.  so I took them to the Nature Trail.  We walked up and I said, "this is prime deer spotting weather"....then BOOM!  I looked to my right and there was a doe!  ha

This handsome boy got a hair cut!

I took them to Home Depot for some things and had to push them around like this.  These monkies were NUTS that afternoon.  NUTS.

Crazy dogs....playing tug of war together.

Look at this messy-faced doll baby in his stocking hat.  So sweet.

We returned from the trail and painted rocks, with the intentions of hiding them around Wichita.;.....but never got to it.

Our busy afternoon wore Arch out!

These sweet dogs are never far behind.  This is always what I find when I open Archie's door after I put him to bed.

Davis's class went to the Pumpkin Patch.  It was so fun spending time with him one-on-one!

Batter up! ha

So this happened.....very randomly.  We have talked about it for so long and finally just decided to do it.

This was my last field trip to a pumpkin patch.  The little boys joined me since it was on a Friday.  Cal had so much fun with his buds!

Kane Cornejo and the Walter boys wanted to push Arch in the stroller.  :)

We left for Manhattan that afternoon.  Mitch was already there for a baseball reunion, so the boys and I drove to Milford Lake to meet my folks at a friend's cabin.  It was amazing!  On the way, we stopped for a potty break and pizza.  We brought Ollie with us but the big dogs were boarded at an amazing play facility.

Early the next morn, we found Willie at the rainy Tailgate!  We had so many rain delays that the game started 3 hours late.

Look at these old teammates!   It was so fun seeing everyone again!

Mom was dancing with Arch.  :)

Tim Schaller's cabin is filled with animals that he has hunted.  He's not a big game hunter usually, but he has gone on some big game hunts.  The boys were astonished by his collection.

Beautiful, peaceful sunrise....

I love this pic.  ❤

My fur babies were excited to see me when I got home.  :)

I felt crafty, so I made a Wichita flag pallet.

I distressed it.....hit it with a hammer and took chunks out with a sander and wood chipper.  Mitch said, "It's nice....but it looks like you hit it with a hammer."  hahaha

Mitch had a work meeting  and we had a showing, so I took the boys to eat Mexican food.  They did so good for me!  The dogs were in the van and I watched them through the window.  It was nice and cool out, so they were safe.
