Bright eyed boy! He's very investigative lately and is looking for thing to tip over.
One morning when Cal wasn't around, Davis thought it was the perfect opportunity to do a little teething on Michelangelo the Ninja Turtle. He was pretty proud of himself!
Mom arrived on Friday morn and I had to laugh. I wore a black shirt and apparently missed the "yellow shirt memo" that day!
When we got to KC that afternoon, I ran by Natalie's house to meet her 1 month old daughter, Juliana Marie. She is a sweet little girl.....and The Hulk Davis had lots of fun conversing with Natalie!
That evening, we met up with our Young side of the family and went to Oklahoma Joe's for dinner. Julia is my second cousin from Dallas. She brought her daughter, Lola Grace, to KC for the weekend which called for a mini-reunion! Janiece (Julia's sister) showed us around KC and took us to a lot of great restaurants. Aunt Susie and Tessa came, too. We had a great time catching up!
Julia and Lola fed the sweet cows.
Pretty girls!
Cal practiced "milking", which funnily enough is what he calls it when I nurse Davis.
"Mama, are you done milking Davis yet?" lol!
"Yee haw! Giddy up!"
If Ollie were a goat, this is what she would look like.....only fatter.
Mom bought him a bottle to feed the goats and he loved it! They were the cutest things!!!!
Mimi and Caligator
Tessa and I took Cal and Lola to the playground while Davis and the adults stayed in the shade by the fan. It was starting to warm up, but the kiddos weren't ready to leave quite yet!
The Young Sisters and their visors
Davis is turning into quite an eater! He is demanding table food. He's seeking out things with texture and crunch.....pizza crust was a perfect solution to his craving!!!

The boys and I, Julia & Lola
We were SOOOOOOO tired on Sunday night and even all day Monday. Cal didn't nap all weekend and had late bedtimes. Davis didn't sleep that well because we were in a new environment and his schedule was thrown way off. I think we're almost caught back up on sleep now, but boy it was a rough few days! The reunion weekend was well worth it, though!
