Davis and I both have freckles on the underneath of our hands. I don't think he got a dark birthmark like I have on my arm (mine was present at birth and he doesn't have one), but it's neat to see another "marker" like mine.
I took cupcakes to Cal's school today to celebrate his upcoming birthday. They have a "no peanut" rule so you can either bring fruit snacks (boring) or pre-made cupcakes (delicious).
Last Saturday, Mitch recruited Jon and Dominic to help him construct Cal's fort. The wives and I entertained the kids while they were busy in the garage.
Cal and Carrie had an epic water fight in the backyard!
We had to move the kids inside and close all the curtains so that the boys could move the fort into the backyard.
Finally the time came and Cal was allowed out back to see his new fort! He was so excited!
....and so were his friends!
The moms and I were ready for an adult beverage!
I decided to reupholster the chairs that Grandma gave me. I think they turned out nice!
We also got Cal's new swing hung, which took four trips to Home Depot to complete. You read that right. We needed chain. Then we needed hooks. Then we needed more chain. Then we needed yet more chain. #amateurs
Davis loves all food.....especially graham crackers since he can hold them himself!
That fort and swings are going to provide hours and hours of entertainment....and you get to play too....so much family fun now...love you
