If Ollie had opposable thumbs and could sit upright, I think she'd rock the boys all by herself. She sits in Davis's room with me each night while I rock him to sleep (and she did the same with Cal). Since she can't hold them independently, she settles for administering superfluous kisses and food swiping.
I took the boys to the pool twice this week and they both loved it! Cal was extremely excited about going down all the slides and Davis loved splashing in the water. I think this summer is going to be a great one filled with gobs of pool visits.
Cal doesn't go to school on Fridays, but a field trip was scheduled for the Wichita Children's Theater so I took the boys. He LOVED it! The play was pretty funny and I found myself laughing out loud, too. The Three Billy Goats Gruff was a big hit with his class.....except for Kennedy, who was pretty terrified of the actors.
My friend, Liz, took her son Padraig (also in Cal's class).
Both boys were enjoying the play!
We're gearing up for a big 3rd birthday party today! About 10 of Cal's friends and their parents are coming over for a water party. Mitch and I are loading up on coffee this morn to prepare.... :)
