State Fair 2014

We took the boys to the State Fair in Hutch on Sunday and had so much fun.  The weather was perfect.  Cal had so much fun riding all the rides and both of the boy loved seeing the animals.

Mitch rode most of the rides with Cal and the carousel is the only one that this motion-sick mommy could handle....but barely.  Ridiculous.

We were a little worried that he might get scared, but he LOVED this kiddie roller coaster!!!

Davis loved watching Cal ride the rides.  He held onto the fence bars and shook them with excitement.

We sat in a huge excavator.

We had to make a stop in the beer garden.  The boys played with cars while we drank our delicious brews.

We didn't get this, but I had to take a pic.  Mitch did get some "moink" balls, which were meatballs wrapped in bacon.  YUM.   Fair food is pretty adventurous!
We met up with the Gillespies and the kids fed the petting zoo animals and rode rides.  Ella and Cal are about 2 weeks apart and Davis and Avery are 2 months.

Davis was intrigued by these animals!

 More rides!

Cal and Mitch rode the Ferris Wheel.  Cal wasn't scared of the heights, but Mitch was a little!

Papa carried D around for awhile and our big guy loved the new vantage point!!!

I think this is such a cute pic.  I bet Dad's back was hurting.  lol

Dad got to meet Bob Dole in one of the buildings!

We stopped for a snack before heading home.
Cotton Candy!

Candy apple!

It was a successful day at the Fair.  So tired!

On the way home, D woke up and was all smiles.  I sat in the back to entertain him and he flipped the script and entertained me instead.  Look at that smile!  Cal slept for part of the ride but not all the way home.

Davis hadn't eaten enough Fair food and decided to nibble on his toes on the way home.  :)
