We went to Manhattan on Saturday for the season opener. This year's game experience was quite different than any in the past. Mitch and I were both exhausted after chasing our children around for hours in the hot parking lot. The boys were hot and tired. Cal didn't like the 'big booms' and fireworks. Davis didn't want to sit still. It was a mess. We actually left at halftime. I think it'll be better when the weather gets cooler, but on this day it wasn't the most enjoyable experience. lol! Our boys were really good, but the combination of the late game and the heat just did them in. We'll try again in a few weeks and hope for a better end result! :)
Davis would only keep his hat on if he wore it backwards.....silly kid.

Cal took an hour long nap in the van while we tailgated. He had a bit of a sleep hangover and wasn't thrilled about the heat when he awoke.
Davis was sporting his new Puma sneakers. I had to put him in real shoes instead of his crib shoes since he was going to be walking around on the hot pavement. Bonus points: they were adorable on his chubby little legs.
