Our boys

Our budding artist loves to draw and create portraits lately.  His imagination is really starting to blossom and he likes to color and paint by himself.  Listening to him talk to himself is so cute.  "O-tay, now I'm going to make a ladybug....tay?  Tay."

Davis usually sleeps so well, but lately he has been waking up every hour and a half (awful) and getting up around 6am.  (Growth spurt?!?!)  So when he woke up at 5:30 one morn, Mitch brought him downstairs while I was rushing around and I rocked him for a bit then laid him on the couch.  He slept for another two hours and woke up bright eyed and bushy tailed.

Then his big bro woke up and got into his standard uniform of KSU gear.  I don't know what Cal has on is face?!?!

That night, Cal helped me fold laundry.  He literally dumped out the entire folded basket of clothes and threw the items around the house while I watched frozen in horror.  Have you heard the phrase, "Raising a two year old is like turning on a blender without the lid on."   CORRECT.

We've been cooped up indoors for weeks and Cal is aching to get out and play.  Melt snow....melt!!!

Davis is starting to sit up in the Bumbo easily.  He loves the new vantage point.

This outfit was a gift from a friend. He looked so dapper in his Polo duds.

I love this pic of my boys!

This outfit is so darn cute.

We took the boys to the KSU game today.  To our surprise, Cal's "girlfriend" was there!  Loralei!  I was texting my friend, Megan, and she said they were at the game.  We met up and the happy couple played and played.  Side note, they are the biggest two year olds I've ever seen.  Loralei also has the most enviable hair...not even just for a two year old.  I mean for, like, the human population.

Cal was getting a little wiggly during the game.

We also caught up with our friends, the Schlatters.  Lizzie wasn't interested in taking a pic with Cal.  She readily accepted the blue sucker that he offered her, but as far as a picture perfect moment was concerned......she wasn't having it.

The Cats lost to Baylor, but we had a good time cheering on our team, regardless.
