First we went for donuts. He's been telling me for three days what kind of donut he wanted and how many donut holes he would eat.....and he didn't disappoint. Sprinkles galore!!!!
Next up, we went to Petsmart for dog food. Cal loves this stop. He has to make his way around the store examine all the animals. This particular store even has a cat adoption room so we always stop in and say hi to the kitties. Today, they were all nice.....no scratch/bite attacks while we petted them in their cages. He also found a dog toy that he thought we needed to buy....for his own toy collection. We didn't.
To wrap up our morning, we stopped to watch a construction site in action. We got out and stood on the sidewalk for awhile and then the site manager (is that what they're called??!) came over to tell us that we could drive up on the dirt to get a closer look. Cal was thrilled!
I took him to school around 10am and then ran some errands. I wanted to spend some time with my littlest baby boy, so I went and picked him up around noon. We didn't do much....he napped and I held him. It was heavenly. I went to get Cal from school and when we got home, we decided to stay outside and "play sports". Golf, baseball, chalk on the fence (not a sport, but still fun), etc. Davis enjoyed the warmer temps, too! I took the bouncer outside and he was having a ball while Cal and I played golf.
We are all headed to Larned tomorrow. Spring Breakin' in western Kansas. You may not be jealous, but it's Home Sweet Home. Can't wait!
