SNOW and SANTA!

Cal was sharing his red car with Davis one afternoon.

Cal and Daddy were playing with the camera one day and took some funny photos!

Every morning before Cal goes to school, Cal has to say hi to his little brother.  "Hey little fella....I'm here!"

All of the Walter boys!!!

Yep, Cal....that bassinet was meant for you.

Again, Caligator was saying hi to his little bro before heading to school one day.  He loves him and is such an adoring big brother.  I love watching them together....it melts my heart.

Davis is starting to be more alert throughout the day.  We still cannot tell what color his eyes are, but we think they may turn brown.  They're definitely a dark blue/grey right now.....a very pretty color.

On Saturday the 21st, Wichita got about 4", which we were thrilled about, but Larned had the highest total in the state with a whopping 15"!!!  We are headed that way on Tuesday, so we know we'll have a white Christmas, errrr, by that point it might be a grey, dirty snow Christmas.  :)

Santa came to our house last night!  Cal was pretty excited to see that Santa ate the cookie and that the reindeer nibbled on the carrots he left.  He had a hard time moving on from the first toy he opened.  It was hard to beat his big Police Car that Santa gave him, but we eventually made it through the rest of the gifts.

He wanted to leave him a note so he scribbled and he spelled (I wrote) his name.

Lately, I usually have Davis in my arms or on my lap, so when I can pull my Caligator in for a cuddle session, I love it.  He is such a sweet kid and understands that baby Davis needs my attention right now, but it doesn't mean that his mama doesn't miss snuggling with him.

Cal is a fan of dinosaurs and magnets, so this gift was a big hit!  Thanks Gpa and Gma Walter!!

Davis took a long snooze while we opened gifts and ate our French toast.  He awoke to watch Cal open a few gifts for him.

As I made lunch, Mitch took Cal out front while he shoveled the driveway. Cal wanted to help, so I gave him a scooper of his own.  He quickly lost interest when he saw his good friend, Vada!

This sweet boy and I stayed inside and cooked while the other boys played in the snow.  Cal eventually ran inside screaming that his hands hurt.  His poor cotton mittens were soaked through and his hands were freezing cold.

Even though Cal came in, I looked outside to find Mitch making a snowman.  It made me laugh out loud!

He gave up after awhile and came in to get warm.  After Cal napped, I took him out and we finished, or attempted to finish, the snowman.  We failed because the snow wasn't wet enough, but at least we put a face on him.

We came inside and Cal began dancing to the music on his new police car.  I think it looks like he's doing yoga?!  Funny kid.

We're headed to Larned on Tuesday.  We are wishing a MERRY CHRISTMAS to all of our family and friends!!
