Cal's latest impersonation? Evel Knievel.
I believe he is now impersonating his Daddy.
Cal wanted to help me pack for our week back in Larned, dirty face and all.
I love when Donnie curls up like a cat. That mean old dirtbag sure tugs at my heart strings.
"Ooooooh!"
We went to the Junior College Basketball Tournament in Hutch and Cal loved it. He loved clapping when the crowd clapped.
Each time the buzzer went off, he yelled "Whoahhhhh!!!!!"
He loved stroking Papa's furry arm.
He loved watching the players scurry quickly from end to end.
He loved wearing Papa's headphones.
Oh....and his Mama just loves this photo.
Cal ran, crawled, and log rolled up and down the ramps. He was a sweat ball, albeit a happy sweat ball.
He didn't love napping, though.
When we got back to Topeka, Mitch and Cal washed the dogs.
We woke up to this on Sunday morn.
I think this is our house's way of saying, "Solicitors beware. Icicles are acceptable weapons for our home to release at its will."
As part of our morning routine, Cal helps me give the dogs their treats. He always gives one to Ollie first because her greedy little paws are about 2.5cm's away from Cal when he has the treat bag. When it's time to get one for Donnie, he first looks at Ollie and lets her finish her treat. Then when she makes an advance towards him, he acts so disgusted and angry. "Nooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!", he screams as he runs around the corner, with Ollie hot on his trail. As with every treat time, Ollie nabs the second treat out of Cal's hand, so I always have to give one to ol' Don to assure that our Fat O-Bear doesn't get another.
However, on this day, he was able to give Don his treat and he loved it.
Too cool for breakfast.
I love this action shot. Yes he is chucking his train track at me.
