- our dogs and table food restrictions

-being 39 weeks pregnant and a toddler with the stomach flu
That last one is a tough one. Poor Cal woke up and told me straight away that his tummy hurt. I can never tell if he's serious or just repeating what he's heard someone say at school so I brushed it off. He and I sat down for our respective bowls of highly nutritious Cinnamon Toast Crunch and he was drinking his apple juice when.....BLAMMO! He puked on all of the above, plus me and the table. He didn't even know what had hit him. From that point on, he was a puking machine. The doctor was so nice and just called in a Zofran prescription and Mitch left work to bring it home to him. It worked instantaneously! We told him that if he took the medicine he'd feel better, so after he swallowed it he instantly looked at us with a huge smile and said, "I feel all better!!! :)
About an hour later, we were playing trains, painting, and actually drinking fluids without throwing them back up. Our little guy appears to be on the mend!
I got a text from my friend, Missy, whose son is in Cal's room at school. Her son started puking at school this morn, so it must be spreading like wildfire throughout the room. I've cleaned and recleaned all surfaces of our house today. I hope I've knocked all the flu bugs out of the Walter household!
