Mom and I went to my cousin Tessa's bridal shower in KC last weekend. We drove through three hours of rain on the way there which wasn't fun, but mom's car sure was clean after that extended car wash! Tess looked beautiful and was very blessed with nice gifts at her party.
I'm going to make the other bridesmaids look like stick figures at her wedding in a few weeks.
Ok, signing off for now. I'll finish this at a more reasonable hour......perhaps at 5:45am when my alarm goes off.
Let the posting resume! I made some sidewalk chalk paint (super easy recipe: mix equal parts corn starch with water and add some food coloring) and Cal painted the fence for us. It washes off with water, so I let him go to town.
Here's what it looks like when it's dry.....tada!
I took the morning off to go with Cal's class to the pumpkin patch. The trip was rushed, but when you're trying to corral 13 two year olds, you have to keep things moving or chaos may ensue. Anyway, Cal loved everything about the trip. When I picked him up from school, his teacher said that she asked him what his favorite part of the trip was and he said, "Mommy came." IT.MELTED.MY.HEART.
He really likes his teachers: Mrs. Debra, Mrs. Becky, and Mrs. Olga.
He was pretty excited about riding in the caboose of the barrel train!
The teachers corral their little chicken coop by having each kiddo hold onto the rope. This rope is like magic....they flock to it and adhere to the rule of never letting it go. It's pretty amazing.
This pumpkin was "too muddy" so he chose another, cleaner pumpkin. :)
He was eating a snack and talking/smiling in this pic.
Cal got his flu shot today after school so I took him for ice cream afterwards. He wasn't the only one who enjoyed the cone.
"Cheese!"
"Ollie, no!!"
This is hygienic, right?
Wanna share?
Just for fun....
