Because his daycare was closed for inservice, Megan watched Cal for 2 days while I was at work. He LOVED going to "Worawei's house." Here are some pics of his adventures with his new buddy.
They wanted to hold hands while picking up Wyatt, Loralei's brother, from Kindergarten.
Megan is really active and fit. She pushed these two year olds while jogging one morning. There's nothing like an extra 80 lbs. of children to help you work up a sweat!!!
Cal's new daycare is really nice, but he's having a difficult time adjusting to it. For instance, this morning I knew it would be an interesting drop off because when he woke up he told me, "Not going school today. No go. Not nice." UGH. It tears me up when I have to leave him and he's crying for me. I hate it. HATE IT. I know it'll get better, but it really starts the day off on a sad note. The positive news is that I know he does have fun once he's there because he's always in a great mood when I go pick him up. He told me after school today that "school was fun", so perhaps we're making progress!
Check out my two big boys! I'm 6 and a half months along and am getting much bigger, much quicker with this pregnancy. Although it's a struggle to keep up with Cal's energy level, I hate to turn down that little kid when he wants to play. However, I will be honest in saying that I look forward to 6:30pm each night when I know Mitch will be home. Mama is ready to drop by that point.
you look great mama....and strong to be lifting that big boy
