Trip to KC

  We got back to Kansas and we were all so tired!!!

Also, it was boiling hot.  The temps were in the 100's all week.

Arch and I got to spend some quiet time together on Tuesday when the big boys went to school.  It was refreshing to veg out with my baby boy, after the busy week we had!

Funny guys.  They ended up in our bed....again.

This guy was still so tired on Friday!  I took the boys swimming and when we got home, Davis fell fast asleep.  lol

Cal took a selfie with Arch when we got home from the pool.  lol

I had promised Cal that he could use a certain amount of his bday money from Aunt Susie and Tessa.  He chose some gifts and put the rest of the money in his piggy bank. 

They always end up in the same bed!  lol

 Archie is fighting a bit of colic lately.  Mitch was out with some friends, so I gave up putting Arch to bed and just brought him downstairs with me.....so that I could sit down and drink my margarita.  lol.  Hey....Mama needed a break....and a drink. 

Mitch's firm paid for a hotel and tickets to the Royals game (in a suite) for all of their associates.  It was so fun! 

We decided to take the boys to LEGOLAND beforehand.

After LEGOLAND, we got some snowcones and headed to the hotel for a rest.  They didn't nap....of course...but they got a good 20 minute snooze in while we drove to the stadium.

Lively crew!  lol

I was so excited that the Ecks were there!  It was so fun getting to chat with Katie. 

The Royals lost and Davis's reaction was pretty appropriate.

When we got home on Sunday, Mitch took the big boys to the golf course to ride around and hit some balls.  While they were gone, Arch and I did this.  So peaceful....love these moments.
