Christmas Break 2015

The weekend before Christmas Break, KSU played a game in Wichita.  We had a good time at the game....and we got the W!

Look at these sweet boys.  The weather one evening was so nice that we walked on the golf course and I snapped these shots. 

This is how I occupy the boys' time while I'm trying to cook.  Stickers are a savior.....and easy to remove with a razor blade and window cleaner.  :)  It's worth the mess. 

I think that Davis has hit a growth streak lately.   He seems to be getting longer and lankier....yet still is a solid boy!

Christmas morning in Larned!  They were excited to see what Santa put in their stockings!

When we got back to Wichita on the 27th, the boys realized that Santa had also visited our house!

I was trying to clean up the Christmas decorations and was downstairs for about 30 minutes.  I came upstairs when Cal invited me to "come see his creation"!  He had strung yarn ALL around the house....it was pretty funny.  :)

The boys were helping me go through an old bin of my childhood belongings.  They were modeling some of my old jewelry and such...

This cracked me up.  We were supposed to get a terrible snow storm on Dec. 26th, but it missed us completely.  Some parts of Kansas were predicted to get a foot of snow.....and they got nada.  Zip.  Whoopsadaisies.T

Ummm....pretty much.  :)

These sweet boys enjoyed their Christmas Break at home with Mama!  We had a lot of fun, but were tired of being cooped up since it was so cold out!

I started potty training Davis.....it's going.....ummmmm....ok.  He's actually doing pretty good at staying dry , as long as I make him go to the bathroom to pee.  Unfortunately, he will hold his poop for 2 days because he doesn't want to go in the toilet.  We're making progress....:)

The boys were drawing and playing in their box houses. They had snacks, so Ollie and Sunny were very interested, too!

We had a few friends over for dinner on NYE.  They all left by 9pm since all of our kiddos were tired. 

Happy New Year!  The boys and I capped off the night with a Paw Patrol.  It was a wild and crazy night in the Walter household!  lol

Davis started the New Year off with some new Batman undies!

Cal and Mitch headed over to the Eck's house and Davis and I stayed behind so that he could nap.

7 months along...

I realized that I've been seriously slacking in documenting my baby bump with this pregnancy, so I went ahead and took one in the doctor's office's bathroom.  :)

Some nights this is so true....

We had two notable earthquakes again last week!  They're becoming a more regular occurrence here....so strange.

Mitch and I had a rare date night over the Break!  The boys were excited that Jennifer was coming over to watch them!

We went to Chucky Cheese for Avery Gillespie's bday last Saturday.  The boys had a blast!  As for Mitch and I....it wasn't as bad as we thought it would be, but it definitely isn't our favorite spot.  lol

He's our "unconventional kiddo".

Davis was singing his ABC's.  I didn't get the best clip of it, but it's still pretty sweet.

"My guys".....this is what he calls his little superhero figurines.  I had to coach him a bit just to get him to say it, but it's so cute when he does it spontaneously.
